Landing at EU retailers now; coming soon to the US.

The New Balance 1906R Continues To Impress In “Stillwater”

Despite the well-received emergence of new models like the New Balance 2010 and New Balance 2000, the 1906R isn’t losing its “best seller” title any time soon. A steady diet of new material builds and color blocking schemes have kept the model fresh throughout the past few seasons, meaning any negative effects of oversaturation (as seen notably in the 550) haven’t been felt to this point. The latest general release coloway to hit the ‘net is this “Silver Metallic/Stillwater” look, shown here via official retailer images.

Fully embracing its retro identity, “Silver Metallic” overlays are paired with a grey, layered mesh base. A dark “Stillwater” blue shade appears on the lining and TPU heel counter, complemented by minty green hits on the ABZORB SBS cushioning pods and lateral side of the midsole. Finally, a light blue color is applied to the tongue, outsole, forefoot overlay detailing, and New Balance logos.

The New Balance 1906R “Silver Metallic/Stillwater” is already available at EU retailers like BSTN and US retailers, suggesting a newbalance.com release is right around the corner. Expect to pay the model’s standard $155 MSRP if you’re interested in adding a pair to your rotation.

Elsewhere in the New Balance world, the controversial New Balance 1906 loafer is embracing more contemporary tones for Fall 2025.
