The adidas adiZero EVO SL might be the strongest bang for your buck running sneaker on the market right now. adidas basically took the Adios Pro Evo 1 – its tentpole “super shoe” at $500 – and incorporated much of its same tech into a $150 daily trainer. Runners have reported glowing feedback since the EVO SL debuted in late 2024, and moreover, adidas’ colorway spread has been more than compelling. This “Flash Aqua” edition is the latest to hit the ‘net, available now via adidas.com.
Delivering energy for days, the sneaker comes drenched in “Flash Aqua” with bright “Lucid Lemon” stripes; pretty straight forward color blocking for a running shoe. As far as tech specs go, the EVO SL features a 7mm drop (39mm/32mm) and weighs in at 7.9 oz in a men’s size 9. Underfoot, LIGHTSTRIKE PRO foam provides comfort and top-tier energy return. The main different between these and the Adios Pro Evo 1 is the absence of a carbon fiber plate.
As mentioned, the adidas adiZero EVO SL “Flash Aqua” is available now via the adidas website. See our Where To Buy section below for purchase links.
