Tropical Colors Take Over Donovan Mitchell’s adidas DON Issue 7

Another rollout colorway emerges.

Tropical Colors Take Over Donovan Mitchell’s adidas DON Issue 7

The latest generation of signature adidas Basketball models is starting to take shape, including the Dame X, much-anticipated Anthony Edwards 2, and for our purposes, Donovan Mitchell’s DON Issue 7. With a release date for the “Lucid Pink” colorway set for July 12th, we’re beginning to unpack more styles that will factor into the model’s Fall 2025 rollout. This “Lucid Lemon/Flash Aqua/Lime Burst” edition is the latest to hit the ‘net via official images.

If this is your first time setting eyes on the new Donovan Mitchell shoe, the sneaker’s defining quality is a zippered shroud reminiscent of adidas’ retro-inspired IIINFINITY line. The bulk of the upper is comprised of a uniform piece of fabric, complete with a warped grid over the toe and curved stripes made up of small dots. A full-length Lightstrike Pro midsole amplifies cushioning that debuted on the DON Issue 6, while an exposed carbon fiber plate provides ample security and stability.

Lending a tropical aesthetic, this newly-revealed colorway is anchored by a “Flash Aqua” to “Lime Burst” gradient. The former color spreads onto the toe and front portions of the midsole/outsole, while the latter takes over around the heel sections. Otherwise, the midfoot plate and shrouded upper portion take on a “Lucid Lemon” hue.

No release date for the adidas DON Issue 7 “Lucid Lemon/Flash Aqua/Lime Burst” has been set at the time of this writing, but we’ll go live with an update as soon as that changes. For now, enjoy official images below.
