Jordan Brand Made A High ‘85 Sample Of Every OG Air Jordan 1

In a display befitting of the Air Jordan 1‘s milestone 40th anniversary, Jordan Brand has made High ’85 samples of every original colorway.

A total of sixteen Air Jordan 1 Highs released in 1985, technically eighteen if you count the model’s original “AJKO” spread. As shown below via images posted by Jumpman employee @bookofrowan, the full lineup is here presented in the ’85 cut generally reserved for special releases. To date, four of the sneakers have actually retro’d in the modern era; the “Neutral Grey,” “Black/White,” “Metallic Burgundy,” and “Bred” in that order.

Jordan Brand hasn’t announced plans to release the other dozen samples any time soon, but there’s already cause for speculation. In December of 2024, Travis Scott confidant DJ Chase B showed off the Jordan 1 ’85 “Royal” on his Instagram story. Nike partner Julian Gaines (@juworkingonprojects) then flaunted the “Chicago” 85s this past March, and most recently, Fragment Design founder Hiroshi Fujiwara was seen wearing the “UNC” colorway.

All sixteen Air Jordan 1 High ’85 samples can be seen in detail below, although the “Metallic Blue,” “Metallic Green,” and “Neutral Grey” only appear in the background. Scroll through the full gallery below and visit our Jordan Release Dates hub to stay current on all upcoming drops.
