This Nike Air Max 1 Is A Must For Batman Superfans

While likely due in part to “big bubble” mania, the Air Max 95 “Batman” has been one of the more surprising hits of the Summer 2025 season, generating a good amount of buzz among fans of Sergio Lozano’s iconic design. Following that sneaker’s release at EU retailers, Nike is bringing “Batman” colors to a different Air Max icon; Tinker Hatfield’s timeless Air Max 1.

Evoking the colors of Gotham’s Caped Crusader, the sneaker features an eye-catching yellow leather mudguard and Swoosh. The quarter and heel are cut from grey suede, while black treatments land on the base, tongue, and sole. The “Batman” nickname is an unofficial one, meaning this is not an actual collaboration with DC Comics (they’ve got Superman Crocs dropping later this month though).

The Nike Air Max 1 “Batman” is expected to release Fall 2025, clocking in at $145 whenever they might land. We’ll update this article as soon as pairs become available.
