NEIGHBORHOOD And Vans OTW Look To The Half Cab And Slip-On

Vans’ OTW label, on top of trotting out bold reimaginings of their classic product (the Engineered Knit series, Old Skool 36 FM, or Vibram-soled variations), has become its foremost launching pad for collaborations. Just this year to date, we’ve seen Gallery Dept. and FDMTL go wild on some of the brand’s most treasured icons. Another multi-time collaborator is now doubling those imprint’s output, as NEIGHBORHOOD and Vans reunite for tonal takes on the Half Cab and Slip On.

This is far from the first time that the California and Japanese companies have come together, but it does mark the first appearance of either silhouette in question. Very much following in the footsteps of their Holiday 2024 link-up, either skate model gets two refined make-overs each in tonal black and white, doused in suede and leather in process. The Half Cab carries the mantle of said Old Skool 36 output clearest, pinning alternate “FILTH” and “FURY” text on the toe while wearing a “CRAFT WITH PRIDE” motto embossed into the midsole. In contrast, NEIGHBORHOOD utilizes the more limited real estate of the Slip On to make their brand mission entirely clear, redoubling the midsole spell-out with a their establishment date and “TECHNICAL APPAREL” know-how on the toe.

The NEIGHBORHOOD x Vans OTW Half Cab and Slip On collection will debut on June 26th via NEIGHBORHOOD channels, with a wider launch to follow on June 27th on vans.com/OTW. The Half Cab checks in with a $135 retail price, while the Slip On commands a $120 sticker price.
