Teddy Santis and co. are closing out the New Balance Made In USA SS25 collection with the “Marsh Green” 992 in July – the last of nine seasonal pairs trotted out by the Boston brand’s creative head.

While most of the SS25 lineup mirrors ALD’s contemporary aesthetic with neutral tones, these 992s go in a different direction. White leather overlays are complemented by navy and “Marsh Green” accents, fulfilling a retro dad shoe vibe much like that of the New Balance 608 and Nike Monarch. Moreover, while not introduced as an official collaboration, the shoe’s color palette aligns almost too well with the Japan-exclusive Shohei Ohtani New Balance 990v6. The two-way Dodgers phenom has been spotted wearing the sneaker in recent weeks, suggesting his influence might be starting to materialize even on non-collaborative NB release.
