The Nike Air Max 90 Lights Up A Dusky “Hyper Crimson” Look

A spin on the model's infamous look.

The Nike Air Max 90 Lights Up A Dusky “Hyper Crimson” Look

Almost entirely on the back of the Patta x Air Max 90, the Tinker Hatfield model has crashed back into the foreground of the visible Air conversation, previously ceding space to the 30th anniversary of the Air Max 95. While no such “Big Bubble” style hardware tweaks are planned for the model this year, it does help bring a spotlight to the always deep register of GR looks that Beaverton is serving up, added to with the “Hyper Crimson” at hand.

Of course, though the titular tone isn’t an exact color match, it’s undeniable that the “Infrared” plays a large part in dictating this offshoot edition. Neutral greyscale hues take up much of the real estate, including including a leather mudguard, mesh foundation, and dark grey quarter panel, allowing the contrasting orange to further stand out in the lined TPU panels surrounding them. Likely the biggest aesthetic swing comes with the Swoosh, outfitted in hairy suede and off-color “Limelight,” an intriguing way to break up an arrangement we’ve all become readily familiar with.

Be ready for the Nike Air Max 90 “Hyper Crimson” to make landfall as a part of the brand’s Fall 2025 offerings, retailing for $135.
