Forever an object of fascination in Beaverton, having gone from a forgotten staple, to the shoe of the decade, back to an easily accessible GR in the span of less than a decade. We’ve said it many a time before — even if Peter Moore’s design is currently closer to a nadir than an apex, it remains extremely hard to argue with its easily-worn appeal, something it’s putting front and center with its “Persian Violet” colorway.
Blending up an off-kilter mix of beige leather base and “Persian Violet” overlays, the evergreen “Be True To Your School” two-tone formula is the starting point for this design. Helping to set this edition from the pack is the inclusion of adjacent “Wild Grape” tonality in the laces, Swoosh, and outsole, fully capitalizing on the cooler end of the color wheel as things begin to really heat up.
The Nike Dunk Low “Persian Violet” is already available via select retailers, but should be going wide via the usual Nike channels in short order. Be ready for a $120 retail price once landed.
