This Air Jordan 1 Low Captures The Diamond Standard

What appears to be another last-decade GR bring-back.

This Air Jordan 1 Low Captures The Diamond Standard

More than ever, Nike, Inc. is willing to re-launch old product without much lead-up or forewarning. Recall “original” Vomero 5 colorways hitting the shelves just 2 years after their initial run, or a limited spate of Air Jordan 1 Low colorways, understated GRs in their debut on the shelves, returning to seemingly embrace that same life cycle. The latter continues to be an undercurrent of modern Swoosh seasons, but there are some meta-narrative details that make the Air Jordan 1 Low “Black/Aqua” a bit more eyebrow-raising.

Indeed, the metadata that comes with this teal and black arrangement points to it being a mid-2010s release, from some of the subtleties of its official images to the layout of its product number. What’s more curious is the fact that it’s been impossible to find that original shoe.

Even if we don’t have an “OG” release to point back to, the hallmarks of that era are still easily identifiable from the shots at hand, blending together a simplistic arrangement of Tiffany-adjacent aquamarine on a leather base bracketed by jet-black counterparts just above.

Expect the Air Jordan 1 Low “Black/Aqua” to hit shelves in the coming weeks as a part of the Jumpman’s ongoing Fall 2025 festivities. Be ready for a $120 retail price upon arrival. If this pair has particularly caught your attention, keep watch over its launch via our Jordan Releases 2025 landing page.
