Andrew Rizzo When the black and white Nike Dunk Low dropped in 2020, few could have predicted the extent to which its nickname would go mainstream. Nike didn’t come up with the “Panda” name, but it’s fully owning it with a whopping slate of special-edition releases for the Dunk’s 40th anniversary. Ever since an on-theme black/white colorway hit the ‘net in April, we’ve been busy unpacking other “Panda” Dunk styles that have only been getting more and more imaginative. Next up is an eccentric kids’ pair due out Fall 2025, shown here via official images.
The overlays are cut from multi-color suede, with pops of green, blue, purple, and red carrying a playful, in-your-face delivery. Another multi-color wash is applied to the laces, while “Cave Stone” leather settles on the toe box, quarter, and heel. As with every “Panda” Dunk broken down thus far, the real highlight here is special detailing. Luminous, cartoon-like Panda faces are stitched onto the backtab and inner tongue, complemented by an accessory featuring the same multi-color mix as the overlays. A set of four branded Panda stickers are included with the shoes, all of which comes packed in a special black/white box.
Nike’s “Panda” Dunk series is set to roll out during the Fall 2025 shopping window, meaning between July-September. This GS pair commands a $105 price tag should you be interested.
