John Kim Kevin Durant’s next chapter in his storied career takes him to the state of Texas. First up, Nike unveils the Nike KD 18 “Halloween” themed after the late-October holiday. It features an all-black upper with images of a skeletal hand, with each vestige lining up with the mid-foot overlay. Adding to the creepy themes is the glow-in-the-dark bottoms, a standard detail on Halloween-inspired Nike footwear. These are expected to drop this October.

Next up is the Nike KD 18 “International Blue”, a clear-cut nod to the original colorway of the Air Foamposite One. With Durant’s roots in the DMV area, this sneaker colorway is a tribute to the region’s historical influence to the shoe game.
The Nike KD 18 “Rise” and “Vivid Purple” are also expected this Fall/Holiday season. The “Rise” features an approach possibly inspired by the University of Texas, whereas the Vivid Purple could be a nod to the “Eggplant” colorway.
