Andrew Rizzo With rising stars like Cooper Flagg and Cameron Brink on board, it’s full speed ahead for New Balance Basketball. The Boston brand will unquestionably enjoy a greater profile in the NBA and WNBA as a result of those signings, and for our purposes, they’re hoping that translates into more eyes on their inline hoops series. The Hesi Low v2 continues to be a focal point, now the subject of this newly-released “Traffic Light” pack.
Three bright neon colorways make up the delivery; one in green, one in yellow, and one in red. For simplicity’s sake, the color blocking is kept the same across all three option. Reflective silver New Balance logos appear on both sides of each shoe, while black outsole are utilized underfoot. Otherwise, the each colorway comes drenched in its respective neon shade.
The Hesi Low v2 builds on its predecessor with a full-length FuelCell midsole, lightweight mesh upper, and wavy radial traction pattern underfoot. Given the model’s inclusion in the recent Cooper Flagg New Balance capsule, it appears this is the sneaker Flagg will wear before his signature line takes shape.
