With the exception of a short stint in Brooklyn, Kevin Durant has rocked the number 35 throughout his entire eighteen-year career. From the moment it began in Seattle through his pathway that included Oklahoma City, Golden State, Phoenix, and now Houston, KD and the trey-five always stood hand in hand.

This upcoming Nike KD 18 is inspired by that consistency as it is the only colorway of the eighteenth model that features the “35”. It appears on the left tongue of this off-court themed design, which features Sanddrift-coded suede uppers and mesh underlays. Dark anthracite grey marks the ankle, tongue, and interior, while a gum bottom poses the question: are these meant for casual wear?

This Nike KD 18 is set to launch this August, so stay tuned for further release date updates and peep the official images gallery below.
