The nascent branch grows a bit more.

The Caged New Balance 9060 X Returns In Two Grey Finishes

New Balance truly does love an offshoot. The 1906R silo has become a family as it’s become a frequent street level sight, but featuring the remodeled tech runner so heavily certainly borders on oversaturation. It’s because of that track record that the appearance of two caged New Balance 9060 colorways in 2024 was such a welcome sight, bringing the brand’s penchant for tinkering with its most treasured designs to another one of its current icons.

Said introductory looks pinned vibrant gradients on the new TPU cage details, some energetic contrast to all-black foundations below. For this new duo, we see another appearance of the brand’s patented grey, merging company heritage with the next-gen compositional notes that this synthetic silo foregrounds. Either pair delivers a comprehensive tonal treatment, split between light grey and dark grey, tinting slightly between the translucent quarter section and the graphic overlays that replace their usual leather counterparts below.

The New Balance 9060 X in these two looks has already started populating global NB sites, likely heralding a stateside release sometime in the near future. If the MSRP from the previous two pair holds, these will retail at $150.
