“Thunder Blue” Sets On The Nike Vapormax Plus

Quiet as kept, Vapormax tech has slipped into the background in Beaverton. Whether a tacit move or a planned one, there’s nary a whisper regarding a potential Flyknit Vapormax 2025, and the Nike Vapormax Plus has only made scattered appearances in the newswire. However, the ultra-cushioned lifestyle family isn’t entirely absent from the Swoosh’s plans, as evidenced by the appearance of a fresh “Thunder Blue” edition for Fall.

Enveloped entirely in cerulean, the Nike Vapormax Plus “Thunder Blue” accomplishes that comprehensive aquatic look with a smattering of adjacent tones. Darker “Midnight Navy” overtakes the synthetic waves that extend from the eyelets, while “Cool Grey” makes an interrupting appearance on the Swoosh at the heel. Similar results come from the yellow Vm branding on the heel, a link to the model’s unfettered history as an ultra-popular lifestyle choice. While it may be a bit until we see an update to the lugged-traction product line, this tonal colorway showcases that the Air Max Plus hybrid can still deliver sensible looks on its well-established hardware.

The Nike Vapormax Plus “Thunder Blue” is available now via Nike.com, clocking in at $220 in men’s sizing. Hit the “Where To Buy” widget just below for direct pick-up links.
