Deion Sanders Reveals A Full Arsenal Of Nike Diamond Turf Proto 92 Samples

We’re mere weeks away from the start of the Colorado Buffaloes’ 2025 campaign. With collegiate stars Travis Hunter and Shadeur Sanders starting their own journeys in the AFC, things are taking on a different tenor. It’s to say nothing of new starting quarterback Kaidon Salter or the returning Omarion Miller, but Deion Sanders is no doubt back at the center of the CU universe once again. With that renewed spotlight comes extra attention to Prime Time’s extracurricular endeavors, and Deion Sanders shoes are back in the conversation as the Defensive Player of the Year showed off a slew of Diamond Turf Proto 92 samples for his birthday.

First revealed in a team meeting where he was gifted the four unreleased kicks, our best look at these glitzy do-ups of Deion’s signature comes back in his office, where Deion Sanders Jr. went through the slate personally with his father. In the younger Sanders’ estimation, we go through the samples in descending order of proximity to Deion’s style.

Fittingly, then, things begin with a black/white/gold edition that aligns with team coloring, shifting to a yellow suede edition that could plausibly serve as a “Buffaloes Alternate.” Then, a link to teams past with a 49ers-like white and red, the latter proudly displayed with a patent leather toe and outlined panels. Finally, potentially the most eye-catching of the group, it’s a purple/pink patent leather pair, apparently bucking Deion’s aversions to vibrant colors in his wardrobe but one that, in his words, he’d easily put in the hands of Cam’ron.

As with some of the previous samples or unreleased swag that the Sanders clan has shown off, it’s unclear whether any of the shoes shown here will make it to retail. While we wade through that uncertainty, you can check out everything on display via the gallery below.
