New Balance Abzorb 2000 “Light Chrome Blue” Launches On September 3rd

A "return to form" for the springy sneaker.

New Balance Abzorb 2000 “Light Chrome Blue” Launches On September 3rd

The New Balance Abzorb 2000 has already succeeded in bringing a new aesthetic into the fold. Can it keep up that same momentum as it cruises past its first few colorways? There’s only one way to find out, and the New Balance Abzorb 2000 “LIght Chrome Blue” marks the next major checkpoint for the model.

Though it’s not a particularly populous group given the silhouette’s recent debut, you can argue that this is the version of the New Balance 2000 that plays closest to already-established recipes for the Boston brand. The off-white midsole, silver tones up top, and an extra dose of grew in the bottom half of the split ABZORB pods make the general atmosphere of this shoe a dead ringer for what they’ve made their bones off of for deacdes now. Of course, the techy, futuristic hardware notes here help this push into becoming something novel, as does the retro pops of “Light Chrome Blue” on the upper.

As mentioned up top, the New Balance 2000 “Light Chrome Blue” touches down on September 3rd, commanding a $170 retail price. We’ll have the “Where To Buy” widget below stocked with direct pick-up links upon arrival, so keep this article close by if you’re eyeing up this edition of one NB’s latest.
