Stores Are Still Trying To Unload Leftover adidas Yeezy Stock

Oh how the mighty have fallen. A friend of Sneaker News was recently in London and snapped a pic of adidas Yeezys on the sale rack at Sports Direct; a scene that was unimaginable five years ago.

Kanye is always in the headlines, but the last few weeks have seen more activity than usual. Ye recently re-opened the Yeezy website with independently-made Yeezy slides, and a Kanye documentary called “In Whose Name?” is releasing toward the end of September. The artist has also come out with a cryptocurrency called YZY Money – go figure.

Back in March, adidas confirmed the company got rid of every remaining pair of Yeezys following the ugly Kanye partnership split. Reputable retailers in the US confirmed with Sneaker News that adidas had asked them to return all Yeezy stock and not sell Yeezys through their doors. However, that doesn’t appear to be the case in Europe. If you’re in the EU looking for adidas Yeezys under retail, your neighborhood store might have pairs in stock. See detailed images below.
