Kith Is Bringing Back Six Decades Of Adidas Running In One Drop

Few collaborative forces in the industry have the sway that KITH does, on full display with the brand’s recent INSTITUTION runway show that flexed a Clarks x adidas Ultra Boost Wallabee hybrid. Separate to that link-up with the Three Stripes, Ronnie Fieg’s label is now taking on the history of adidas Running, with an impending collection centered on six distinct icons coming soon.

This archival deep dive is united by sleek silver overtones, bringing a timeless air to each of the checkpoints in the performance journey. Highlighting the simplistic yet still groundbreaking design of the SL 72 is the first order of business, carriny green Three Stripes branding on its lateral side, another hallmark as you work through the collection. Moving chronologically, the adidas New York and Oregon Ultra Tech with their webbed midsole designs earn red and tech blue flares, respecitvely. Then it’s to the Supernova Cushion 7 and Energy Boost, carrying more minimalistic black in their distinctive sections.

Finally, representing the brand’s modern tech, the Adizero Boston embraces the chrome concept entirely. All of what KITH and adidas cook up here wears its historical air loud and proud, bearing co-branded KITH stamps on their tongues with their respective years of introduction.

The KITH draw for the adidas Heritage Running collection is open now, closing at midnight EST. The earnest release comes on August 22nd via KITH in-store, online, and app.
