Donovan Mitchell Heads Back To Campus With The adidas DON Issue 7 “Louisville”

adidas Basketball is firing on all cylinders, pulling off the long-awaited reveal of the adidas Anthony Edwards 2 and beginning to plant the seeds for the Harden Vol. 10. Doubtless those upcoming models are worthy of praise, but don’t sleep on their current stable either, with the adidas DON Issue 7 continuing to impress as one of Spida’s most well-recieved to date.

Evidently, he and the Three Stripes Basketball team figure it’s time to jump a bit back in the timeline, as the next look for the adidas DON Issue 7 is an ode to “Louisville.” Yes, black and red has been a timeless combination in the category for years, but it’s the the white piping around the exterior aligns particularly well with the Kentucky kits, mirroring the sleeve outlines from Mitchell’s time in the South. Otherwise, the same points of emphasis remain; curvilinear geometry through the upper, midsole, and toe, and a tooling package worthy of the All-NBAer.

The adidas DON Issue 7 “Lousville” drops on September 6th, retailing for $120.
