The paragon of said shift remains the New Balance 1906L and the virality that came with its introduction, but it’s not just formalwear that’s brought results. adidas is tapping into the resurgent sneaker boot lane (see the Air Jordan 1 Brooklyn) with a twist, issuing an adidas Samba that comes with a detachable pant extension.
In most of the official images that you’ll see below, this registers as a standard, if more eye-catching than usual, version of the indoor soccer shoe, bearing bearing glossy snakeskin exteriors and olive detailing atop a dark gum bottom. extended pant extension connects to this shoe, creating a knee boot-like profile that’ll be impossible to miss.
Obviously the adidas Samba Boot in “Navy Snakeskin” comes with far more than a run-of-the-mill pair, so we’ll likely see a premium on its $100 MSRP when this pair lands. As to when to expect that, be ready for this shoe to hit shelves digital and physical before the year is out.
