Jordan Brand Has A Stark Message In This Dia de Muertos Release

In case you’ve missed our coverage of the Air Jordan 1 Low “Dia de Muertos” or Air Jordan 3 “El Vuelo,” the Jumpman’s overtures towards the Spanish-speaking world are only picking momentum. With the actual occasions for these shoes growing closer, the brand is teeing up some further ceremonial kicks, inducting a fresh face with the Jordan Session “Somos Eternos” for Dia de Muertos.

Yes, the 2025 product, marketed as Jordan’s first skate shoe, now joins the Retro silhouette in a budding pack. Rather than the softer, vibrant hues utilized there, here we see a closer embrace of eartheir, dare we say, spookier tonality throughout. Functionally radiating out from a stealthy skull-laden tongue tag, archaeological aesthetics also pace through the whole shoe, including a ribcage pattern on the wavy sidewalls and cracked prints on the midsole. For the most playful detail, look inside the shoe, where a skeleton kicks back inside of a coffin, accompanied by “Nadie sale vivo de ceta vida” text (“No one gets out of life alive.”)

The Jordan Session “Somos Eternos” is expected to release in the lead-up to the holiday on November 1st, potentially carrying a premium on the usual $100 sticker price given the special edition touches here. Catch official images included below and watch our Jordan Release Dates page for more updates in the meantime.
