Andrew Rizzo New Balance has acknowledged the success of Miu Miu’s New Balance 530 by debuting a new mainline model in the New Balance 204L; a more wallet-friendly, slim low-top that borders the aesthetic championed by the Italian luxury brand. With that being said, there’s no substitute for the real thing. Miu Miu has come out with three fresh New Balance 530s for Fall 2025, all of which can be copped now from miumiu.com.
First entering the public eye at Miu Miu’s Spring/Summer 2024 runway show, this version of the New Balance 530 has become something of an “it shoe” among trend-hoppers with deep pockets. The 530 proper is built atop an ABZORB sole unit, but Miu Miu’s reinterpretation sees a much lower profile underfoot, echoing the rise of slim sneakers across the board.
For Fall 2025, Miu Miu brings the New Balance 530 closer to home with three mesh styles; a composition known well by the standard edition. Leading the charge is an all-black colorway featuring patent leather, followed by white/silver/gold and blue suede options featuring brown gum soles. All Miu Miu 530s to this point have features all-suede or all-leather upper, but this latest batch is more in-line with the standard model’s tech runner identity.
