“Neon” Strikes Again On The Nike Air Max 95 Ultra

Given that we knew the likes of Levi’s and Nike SB would take to the Air Max 95 months in advance, it’d come as a shock to most readers if we had told you just earlier this year that the OG would shine far above those collaborative pairs. Indeed, almost three-quarters of the way through the 30th anniversary of Sergio Lozano’s innovation, it’s the “Neon” that’s the real resale market prize, hovering near double its MSRP on secondary sites.

It’s partially the fervor surrounding the 1995 hi-vis edition that’s prompted the Swoosh to keep the gray gradient looks in supply as 2025 has continued. As we flirt with Q4, Beaverton has additionally started outfitting its other offerings with the same bright green stylings, introducing the Book 1 “Neon” and Air Max TL 2.5 “Neon” to placate those who missed out on the spring drop.

They’re playing it even closer to home with the latest in that assortment, a “Neon” version of the Air Max 95 Ultra that shares identical color-blocking, its core distinction coming in the hardware. Ironically, the sleeker touches that the model hit the scene with in 2015 have been entirely reversed in the Swoosh’s current plans, obviously placing a premium on the OG-minded “Big Bubble,” but the no-sew overlays and sheer mesh paneling remain as sleek as they were in that 20th-anniversary debut.

The Nike Air Max 95 Ultra “Neon” is due out in Holiday 2025, expected to retail at $170. Catch studio shots below and keep our coverage within reach for any and all updates.
