Nike Pushes The Zoom Spiridon Into Autumn With “Off-Noir” Canvas

Following a relatively quiet summer, the Nike Zoom Spiridon is picking back up with fresh styles for Holiday 2025. The first wave of its 1997-born comeback leaned heavily on OG colorways, but Nike now seems eager to experiment with non-traditional materials. This past August brought us a mold-breaking “Hot Fuchsia” pair featuring denim, high-pile fabric, and new mesh construction. Looking ahead, we’re beginning to see a variety of canvas builds slated for the upcoming season.

Joining a preppy “Fir” Zoom Spiridon do-up is this understated “Off-Noir/Cave Purple” edition. “Off-Noir” dominates the mesh base, tongue, and especially a canvas mudguard that swaps out the model’s usual textured leather. The Swoosh logos switch things up as well, arriving in suede instead of the typical metallic silver leather. Reflective piping and eyelets retain some of the model’s late-’90s DNA, while a white midsole paired with a dark brown gum-style outsole grounds the look.

Designed by Christian Tresser, the Spiridon was the first Nike sneaker to feature a full-length visible Zoom Air unit. It wasn’t a blockbuster hit when it debuted in the late ’90s, but over time it has developed cult-classic status, much like other Nike Running silhouettes of that era.

The Nike Zoom Spiridon “Off-Noir/Cave Purple” releases Holiday 2025 for $170 in men’s sizes. See official images below if you’re planning to add these to your rotation.
