The Salehe Bembury x PUMA era is already paying dividends. Reportedly a crucial recruiter in bringing Tyrese Haliburton into the Big Cat fold in the first place, early returns on the PUMA Hali 1 showcase how valuable the duo can be moving forward.

On the solo tip, Bembury has wasted no time making an impression separate from the Pacers superstar. Continually teased ever since news of his PUMA partnership went wide, the PUMA Velum Nitro first came to the public with a limited, 100-pair engagement in Paris this June. For its wide launch, the Nitro-fueled running silhouette tips off with both that earthy colorway and a far more in-your-face “Mahana.” While it carries the same general ultra-cushioned running shoe silhouette, you’ll note the trademark fingerprint Bembury touch as the most significant jump from in-line releases, with additional translucent graphic layers highlighting the air-thin uppers and chunky underfoot dynamic.
