Andrew Rizzo We’re approaching a full year since Wales Bonner and adidas dropped their last Samba collection, but the British designer’s impact on the terrace classic is still deeply felt. The Three Stripes continues to build on the Samba’s refreshed, chic identity with new mainline releases that speak directly to current fashion trends — including animal-print pairs and other “it-girl” styles like the one we have before us today.
Dipping slightly into the trending ballerina-shoe aesthetic, the adidas Samba here features a unique floral pink lace fabric on the stripes and backtab. Pink ribbon laces weave through upgraded TPU eyelets, while a heart-shaped pearl locket accessory, a bundle of pearls, and a metallic gold lace dubrae featuring the Trefoil logo round out a truly elevated design. At its core, the shoe opts for a tumbled black leather base, light brown gum soles, and an elongated tongue for just a dash of soccer-inspired aesthetic.
