Bruce Lee Stays In Focus With A Black And Yellow adidas Samba

If you’re a sucker for sneakers with great storytelling, you were likely just as impressed as we were with the adidas Jabbar Lo “Bruce Lee” that dropped the other month. adidas masterfully wove together Bruce Lee and Kareem Abdul-Jabbar’s connection — both in real life and on the big screen — into a sneaker that serves as a narrative artifact honoring their shared history, delivering a crossover that felt natural yet truly special all at once.

Looking at this upcoming Samba, it’s quite clear that Bruce Lee is still top of mind over in Herzogenaurach. Taking on the colors of the late martial artist’s iconic Onitsuka Tiger sneakers, the adidas Samba here gets a Game of Death makeover with a yellow patent leather base and black hits on the stripes, backtab, laces, and outsole. There’s no special detailing to behold, but the project still ties in effortlessly with Bruce Lee’s legacy.

The adidas Samba “Bruce Lee” is due out Holiday 2025 in women’s sizes for $100 USD. We’ll post from the @sneakernews X account as soon as pairs become available online.
