Andrew Rizzo After resurrecting the PHANTACI x Air Max 1 “Grand Piano” last year, Nike and Taiwanese pop star Jay Chou are picking things back up with an Air Max 95 for Holiday 2025. For their latest effort, Chou shifts his focus from keys to strings, taking inspiration from guitars with a new style featuring Flywire-like cables and a slew of wood-inspired textures.
With the general release style looming, Sneaker News is proud to bring you an exclusive look at the Friends & Family version created for the PHANTACI inner circle. The tongue and upper netting portion come in light tan instead of black, and the sides feature a flipped light-to-dark gradient consisting of different wood grain finishes. The toe cap comes in dark brown to maintain some contrast, while Jay Chou’s name replaces “Air Max” on the left tongue tag.
To state the obvious, this Friends & Family sneaker won’t see a public release. The public version is due out Holiday 2025, although no firm date or MSRP has been set as of this writing.
