Following mail calls for UNC, Florida, and Oklahoma, the UCLA Bruins are the latest Jordan-sponsored football program to receive their player edition package for the 2025 season.
As has been the case for all schools thus far, Bruins players have their pick between two Air Jordan cleats: a Jordan 4 and a Jordan 1 Low. You might be wondering — where’s the gold? And you wouldn’t be wrong to have that critique. These could easily be mistaken for North Carolina PEs, but they’re clean nonetheless.
Starting with the AJ4, the cleat features a black nubuck upper with baby blue hits on the netting, flaps, and heel “Nike Air” text. The cursive UCLA logo appears in blue on the left tongue, while white laces match a predominantly white cleat plate. The Jordan 1, meanwhile, stands out with a black and grey elephant print base — appearing to be some sort of synthetic satin or fabric material. The Swoosh logos, Wings logos, and cleat bottom come in baby blue, while white laces add some pop.
Much like the player edition footwear Jordan created for its sponsored basketball programs earlier this year, we’re expecting similar Jordan 4/Jordan 1 packages to roll out to all Jordan-sponsored college football teams before the 2025 campaign wraps up. Stay tuned as we continue to unpack each package as they arrive.
