END Closes Out 20th Anniversary Collabs With The adidas Gazelle

It might be because we’ve been beating the drum of how significant this year is in sneakers for far longer than 12 months, but it’s hard to believe we’re careening toward the end of 2025. Though there’s still time to add significant cappers to what the quarter-century mark will hold, one of the various year-long programs we’ve tracked is coming to a close. END’s 20th anniversary festivities are sadly drawing to an end, but the British label is throwing things back with the adidas Gazelle “Grass Roots.”

It’s almost the only fitting conclusion for this celebration, already checking off odes to UK hotspots with a corner shop adidas HRMY and a Chip Shop adidas BW Army. In returning to the football icon, END. similarly odes to the British institution, taking cues from the pub. It’s the deep connection between that “third place” cheering on local and national squads that lights this pair, executed by pulling its black and teal overtones from throwback Newcastle United kits. The knit mesh sidewalls only harden that connection to vintage apparel. Rounding out what’s overall a simplistic profile, embossed co-branding hits crop up on the tongue, with END.’s portion of that borrowing from Newcastle’s 1983–1988 curved crest.

The END. Clothing x adidas Gazelle “Grass Roots” and its accompanying apparel set is already listed on END.’s “Launches” widget on their site. The full capsule will hit the site on October 17th — be ready for a $159 sticker price (or equivalent).
