Update: Official images of the Nike LeBron 23 “Bubble Grey” have been uploaded ahead of the colorway’s November 18th release. A $210 retail price remains. Largely, the silver and purple scheme seen in “first looks” remains intact, but gilded packaging aligns with the championship air emanating from this pair and bubble branding on the heel makes good on its Orlando reference in the title. Haters will say the 2020 Playoffs were a cake-walk. Hoopers argue the opposite, claiming it to be the most intense form of postseason hoops. LeBron James’ 2020 Championship holds varying degrees of weight depending on who you speak to, but regardless of your love or hate of the King, there’s no denying his greatness.

One of the upcoming LeBron 23 colorways is confirmed to be inspired by the NBA Championship won by the Los Angeles Lakers during the 2020 “bubble”. This secluded and quarantined haven of hoops was created to carry out the rest of the NBA Playoffs where x-factors such as home court advantage and rowdy crowds don’t play into the outcome.

This upcoming iteration of the LeBron 23 features a sharp metallic grey and purple colorway, while jeweled “bubble” Swoosh appears on the upper in a turquoise blue. Although unclear what that color alludes to, it may represent the colors of Walt Disney World where the memorable games were played.

As of now, a release date for the LeBron 23 “Bubble Boy” has is expected on November 18th, 2025 for $210.
