Sneaker News Nike’s retro Air Max offense seems to have taken a backseat to the Shox franchise. With the growing demand of 2000s era footwear design aesthetic, the Swoosh chose to bring back a select few models from that era to appeal to the current public; it’s why the Air Max TL 2.5 of all models came back in full force this year.
Although this silhouette hasn’t capture households worldwide like the Shox TL has, its fellow TL family member has, at least, tried. Nike’s been pumping new colorways on the regular with over a dozen pairs hitting the market over the last year. Unlike the Shox TL, which is considered to be part of the 2000s era pop-culture fabric, the TL 2.5 is obscure by comparison.
