Sticking in the realm of basketball, the Willy Chavarria x adidas Forum ’84 Hi lands as his next experiment, kitting the storied model with a nocturnal black and red colorway.
Though the front of the shoe remains largely untouched, Chavarria remodels its back half — leveling out the strap, adding a new sectioned heel counter, and overall switching the paneling in that section. Otherwise, the collaborative air with this shoe comes from heightened materiality and the aforementioned stealthy color combination, particularly effective with the “Chavarria”-branded strap and tongue.
