The adidas Anthony Edwards 2 is officially underway, hitting the market in a peachy “With Love” earlier in October and for regular season arrival as the Timberwolves square up against the Trail Blazers. Perhaps aiming at taking over social media feeds and newswires the same way its predecessor has, the eve of the Wolves’ 2025-26 has come with a furious number of AE2 colorways, now tacking on the “EQT Green” edition at hand.
We can squint and see some forested inspiration for the titular “EQT Green,” but bracketing that naturalistic shade with “Soft Yellow” synthetics through the sole likely mints this as simply a clean color combo rather than a tie to anything Wolves. It’s notably a more reigned-in take than previous viridescent Anthony Edwards shoes, leaning into more in-your-face layouts for the AE1 “Lucid Lime” or its fabric “Preloved Lime” sibling. All told, it’s a calmer counterpart to some of the electrictified fare on the upcoming slate, from the shimmering Anthony Edwards 2 “Year of the Horse” to the Anthony Edwards 2 “Christmas.”
