Even as we sort through what’s set to be a jam-packed slate of November Jordan Releases, those unmoved by that penultimate crop have plenty to look forward to in December. Joining the Air Jordan 8 “Bugs Bunny,” Air Jordan 11 “Gamma” and a limited re-release of the Air Jordan 1 “Bred” is the star of our show today, the Air Jordan 1 Retro High OG “Sail.”
Now revealed in full, the Air Jordan 1 High “Sail” is a deeply clean pair, whose core conceptual attraction is a light grey Swoosh in elephant print, alluding to the central feature of the Air Jordan 3 that’s long since branched out from its parent model. Outside of that, two different tones of off-white makes up the body of the shoe and the midsole, contrasted well by fire red accents on the sole, and intriguing, on the exposed stitching on the heel where the Swoosh splits into two. An exposed foam tongue and scaly textures on the collar round out this shoe.
