Andrew Rizzo With two collections by Aimé Leon Dore already under its belt, the New Balance RC56 is ready to enter the next chapter of its rollout with fresh general release styles.
The slim-soled, tech-driven model here takes a page from the Air Jordan playbook with a timeless black and red color combination. Red mesh across the forefoot does most of the heavy lifting, while perforated red leather moves in on the curved window underneath. The side panels feature red ripstop material sandwiched between strips of black leather, joined at the center by a black N-lock logo. The tongue arrives in red mesh with glossy black leather paneling, while the FuelCell-equipped sole unit appears almost entirely in black.
The New Balance RC56 is one of two new slim-soled New Balance tech runners that have debuted this year, joined by the New Balance 204L. This “Black/Red” colorway is slated to release November 19th, 2025 for $165 in men’s sizes.
