Few Nike collaborators can claim to have dropped grails across multiple eras. Legendary graffiti artist Futura is one of them, having replicated the hype behind his Nike SB work from the 2000s two decades later through projects with Virgil Abloh (and a solo SB Dunk Low collaboration last year). He’s a figure well deserving of continued recognition from the Swoosh, and Beaverton is returning the favor ahead of his 70th birthday in just a few weeks.
Shared by the man himself on Instagram, this Nike Air Force 1 takes inspiration from Futura’s iconic Nike SB Dunk High “FLOM” from 2004 — a true grail among grails, limited to just 24 pairs for Futura and his inner circle. The sneaker appears to be a Friends & Family exclusive, limited to only 70 pairs in celebration of the artist’s 70th birthday on November 17th. The “FLOM” theme — short for “For Love Or Money” — materializes through a tiled base layer inspired by printed currency. A pink satin sock liner and nubuck overlays further echo the legendary Dunk, while Roman numerals for 70 (LXX) are stamped on the heel. Numbering on the inner tongue marks the sneaker’s exclusivity, and paint-splattered laces are included.
Coincidentally, the emergence of this Friends & Family pair arrives just as first looks at the upcoming Nike SB Air Force 1 surface, a model expected to debut publicly in Spring 2026. It’s unclear whether Futura’s “FLOM” style feature skate tooling — not that it matters much as it will be virtually impossible for the everyday collector to secure.
