Dashawn Jordan’s First Nike SB Dunk Is Inspired By OG Diamondbacks Uniforms

A future classic?

Dashawn Jordan’s First Nike SB Dunk Is Inspired By OG Diamondbacks Uniforms

Dashawn Jordan’s first Nike SB Dunk release is a love letter to his Arizona roots. Bringing to life an idea that’s long been in the works, the Phoenix skater took inspiration from the original Diamondbacks uniforms and translated it onto Nike’s premier skate shoe — and he absolutely knocked it out of the park.

We first caught a glimpse of the sneaker this summer, but new images and confirmation of a Spring 2026 release window give us reason to take another look. Pops of purple and teal on the lining and heel tab instantly recall the days of Luis Gonzalez, Tony Womack, and, of course, the Big Unit. The Diamondbacks theme continues in a more literal sense with grey snakeskin overlays atop a black suede base. A purple and teal diamond-shaped graphic appears on the inner tongue, while a snake-shaped lace dubrae adds extra flair. Finally, Dashawn Jordan’s cursive signature logo appears on the insoles. From our perspective, this one has all the makings of a future classic — a pitch-perfect mix of storytelling and design.

As mentioned, the Dashawn Jordan x Nike SB Dunk Low is expected to release Spring 2026. The sneaker will likely drop through skate shops and the Nike SNKRS app. See detailed images below if these are making your wish list.
