The Joe Freshgoods x New Balance 2010 is a prime example of why it’s important to be cautious with early leaks. The Chicago native’s latest collaboration drew heavy criticism when an early sample made the rounds online this summer, which Joe quickly distanced himself from. We’ve since gotten curated looks at two entirely different styles, and sneakerheads have largely changed their tune, hailing the project as one of JFG’s best in recent memory.
Following an official teaser from the man himself last month, the Joe Freshgoods x New Balance 2010 has started appearing at retailers overseas. Two colorways are set to release — “Hand-Me-Downs” and “Bag Lady” — both featuring a distinctive carpet-like material. The tan version is the first to surface at retailers, suggesting the black pair may be exclusive to Joe Freshgoods’ own channels.
New Balance has yet to announce an official release date, but German retailer BSTN currently lists the sneaker for November 14th at €189 (approximately $220 USD), notably higher than the base model’s standard price. See official retailer images below and stay tuned for further updates.
