After a few dormant years, New Balance’s Tokyo Design Studio, an experimental lab for the brand’s practical-use footwear, leapt back into headlines with a reimagined version of the New Balance MT10 trail running sneaker earlier this year. The slim, almost water-shoe-like silhouette admittedly isn’t ideal for winter in our neck of the woods, but for those in warmer climates, Navy and Brown colorways are set to release on November 15th.
The New Balance MT10T features a grippy Vibram sole and a sleek suede upper with a pull enclosure and black protective synthetic overlays. The seldom talked-about MT10 has served as a jumping-off point for a few collaborations, including releases by both Issey Miyake and running label District Vision. The MT10T also dropped in three colorways by Teddy Santis’ Aimé Leon Dore earlier this summer.
Navy and Brown suede colorways of the New Balance MT10T are set to release November 15th via select retailers. A larger release is expected through New Balance channels on or shortly after that date. See official images of both colorways below if you’re moved to cop.
