Women's sizes drop soon.

The adidas Samba Slithers Into Snakeskin For Fall

Grace Wales Bonner deserves all the flowers, not just for her collaborative output with adidas, but for how deeply her influence has trickled into the broader adidas inline catalog. It’s a storyline we’ve seen play out time and again, including right now with Pharrell’s adidas Jellyfish and its takedown counterpart in the Adistar XLG 2.0. Hard to get collaborations are great for driving hype, but widely accessible general releases are the real cash cows that generate the revenue needed to thrive.

In that spirit, adidas is dropping yet another Samba that looks like it could have been spearheaded by Wales Bonner herself. Recalling an unreleased sample that made the rounds online last year, the Three Stripes’ terrace classic here sports faux maroon python skin leather for a chic, elevated vibe. The stripes and backtab come in white, while brown gum soles finish things off underfoot.

The adidas Samba “Maroon Python” is expected to release soon via adidas and retailers in women’s sizing. See official images below if you’re set on copping.
