Can Awake NY somehow top their magnificent Air Jordan 5 collaboration from earlier this Summer? A shoe that many will nominate as the best release of this jam-packed year of kicks, the Awake Jordan 5s set new standards in collaborative design, particularly by stretching the limits of logo placements and alterations that were once considered boundaries with the Jumpman. By re-shaping the upper netting with the Angelo Baque-founded “A” logo and delivering two insanely strong colorways, Awake has entered the upper echelon of creative partners in the sneaker space–which means the expectations are even higher.

As reported by @zsneakerheadz and Sneaker Files, Awake NY is indeed releasing an Air Jordan 6 collaboration in 2026. Both are dropping this Fall 2026 season. This is one of several releases dedicated to celebrating the 35th Anniversary of the Air Jordan 6.

Some mock-ups have been shared to reflect the leaked color specifications (Playful Pink/Infrared 23/Shy Pink/Arctic Pink and Midnight Navy/Infrared 23/Game Royal/Light Blue), but Sneaker News can confirm that the upcoming Air Jordan 6 will look radically different from the Air Jordan 5.
