Nike And Converse Come Together For The Final Season Of Stranger Things

At the time of this writing, we’re just under a week until the final season of Stranger Things kicks off, closing the book on one of the dominant cultural products of the past decade. To commemorate, we’ve already got wind of Nike’s Stranger Things Dunk Low, but there’s far more in the tank as the festivities earnestly kick off.

Instead of only Peter Moore’s design, a total of six shoes will mark the Stranger Things capsule, uniting Nike and Converse for a range of era-accurate editions. For the Swoosh’s contributions, things begin with a clean variation of the Air Max 1, wearing an OG-like burgundy overhaul that keeps things simple, focusing its energy on flipped branding tags and an eerie insole, which become hallmarks as you work through the offerings on display. The Nike Field General High is next up, a genuine development in the model’s recent history given Beaverton has entirely looked over this build in favor of its low cut. Lastly, the LD-1000 pitches in an era-accurate nylon composition, coated in vibrant ’80s shades of purple and gold.

For Converse’s side of the equation, the brand begins with arguably the most narrative-packed pair on tap here, pulling from Robin’s iconic Chucks with a grey Chuck 70. “Rockin Robin'” embroidery on the lateral side makes the inspo clear and plain, with additional crop circle embroidery surrounding a Demogorgon-ified take on the All-Star emblem. A nod to Buckley’s DJ gig sits just above the sole to close. Finally, to round out this capsule, comes the Converse Weapon, coated in throwback off-white and blue and delivering the series’ name in a graphic collar.

The Nike & Converse x Stranger Things collection will also come with a range of graphic tees, hoodies, sweatpants, and a sweatsuit, the latter only available via JD Sports. Look for all of the shoes discussed here (with the exception of the Dunk Low, which dropped earlier in November to an instant sell-out) to release on December 4th via Nike, Converse, SNKRS, and select retailers.
