DTLR Bottles After-Hours Energy With The New Balance 740 “Night Moves”

New Balance and Maryland-based sneaker chain DTLR have been locked in for nearly a decade now, forming a formidable duo thanks in part to New Balance’s longstanding popularity throughout the greater DMV area. Their partnership has consistently delivered DTLR-exclusive takes on silhouettes New Balance is eager to spotlight, resulting in everything from Made in USA standouts to inspired, eye-catching takes on inline models.

Here we have the New Balance 740 “Night Moves,” a design that channels the rhythm and edgy vibe of late-night city energy. Not to be confused with DTLR’s “Starry Nights” 1906R from last year, this 740 features a black mesh base with silver overlays meant to capture the glow of passing streetlights. Yellow detailing evokes road lines and fluorescent signage, while light blue and mint green accents inject even more energy.

The New Balance 740 is a retro runner from the 2010s recently revived for modern-day wear. DTLR’s exclusive edition marks the latest chapter in the silhouette’s resurgence, arriving on the heels of collaborations with Aminé and Concepts, along with a growing slate of strong general-release colorways.

DTLR’s New Balance 740 “Night Moves” releases on Cyber Monday (December 1st, 2025) at DTLR stores and online at dtlr.com. Full family sizes will be available. See detailed images below if you’re planning to cop.
