Tom Sachs Restocks The Nike General Purpose Shoe

Another one.

Tom Sachs Restocks The Nike General Purpose Shoe

The Tom Sachs x Nike partnership revolves around two models that sit on opposite ends of the spectrum. On one side is the famed Mars Yard series, a trio of grail-tier releases defined by scarcity, storytelling, and heavy marketing. On the other side is the General Purpose Shoe, a “do everything” model designed to be perpetually stylish and perpetually in stock.

Now that Sachs and Nike are officially back together, the General Purpose Shoe has reclaimed that identity through steady restocks, first in February 2025 and now once again for another round. Shown here is the “Studio” colorway, the first GPS colorway that originally released in 2022. It arrives in a crisp palette inspired by Sachs’ studio environment, combining a durable knit upper with suede overlays on the toe, heel, eyestays, and rear panel in varying shades of off-white and grey. Royal blue pull tabs add a clean contrast, while a brown midsole and rugged black outsole complete the build.

Tom Sachs and Nike have also announced the General Purpose Participation Shoe, an alternate style that losers of the Mars Yard 3.0 raffle were able to pre-order in September. That pair is expected to begin shipping sometime during the Summer 2026 release window.

The “Studio” Tom Sachs General Purpose Shoe is available now through the Tom Sachs website. Retail is once again set at $110 USD.
