Miami’s Andrew Goes Tropical With Their Salomon XT-6 Collab

Carcinization comes for the gorpcore silhouette.

Miami’s Andrew Goes Tropical With Their Salomon XT-6 Collab

Perhaps you more readily associate Salomon’s recent ascension with the chic streets of New York and Los Angeles, but the outdoors brand is continuing to showcase their range. In recent months, we’ve already seen Colombian sensation Feid bring his personal flair to the XT-Pathway 2; Miami skate shop Andrew now brings Southeast flavor to the Salomon XT-6.

Even without any brand explanation, the collaborative design screams warm weather from the jump, its upper coated in an orange ombre that flares into yellow accents on the tongue. However, that official narrative adds an additional layer to this design. In truth, this shoe pulls from local fauna rather than sunsets, as the Florida Stone Crab lends that gradient design, its black splotches inspiring the identically coated trim throughout this shoe. You’ll need to shift inside the shoe to see what might be the best detail, however: graphic printed insoles with ice cubes, alluding to the typical serving set-up for the crustacean.

The Andrew x Salomon XT-6 releases on December 4th via Andrew Miami, followed by a wider drop via Salomon.com, retailer doors, and partnering stockists on December 8th. Retail pricing is set at $190 across each of those channels.
