size? Is Dropping A “What The” Style Nike Air Max 90 For Their 25th Anniversary

This one’s for the diehards. Though the celebration of the Air Max 95 remains the dominant drumbeat of 2025, size?, amid their own anniversary festivities, is taking things in a more low-key direction. Having already expended co-branded energy throughout the product line, the UK imprint is turning to the Air Max 90, issuing a patented color flip on a past-decade design that fans of the silhouette may recall.

Already seen via official images earlier in 2025, the earnest rollout now begins as the European mainstays tee off their usual slate of blog posts and teaser shots. As discussed earlier, this seems to be a simple revamp of the “Mixtape” series from 2019, a combined flip of some recent highlights for the silhouette.  Though many of the touchpoints from the original “Mixtape” series remain intact from the previously released version in 2019, size? makes their inspirations for this shoe clear in their social messaging, depicting the Off-White, “Bacon,” and this shoe’s yellow predecessor in a short teaser video. Notably divergent is a translucent backtab that pins typical Nike Air on the exterior while showcasing the brand’s trademark question mark branding one below. Additionally, the usual mesh arrangement on the toe here shifts to perforated leather, seemingly a nod to the Dizzee Rascal collab from 2009.

The draw for the size? x Nike Air Max 90 is open now via size? Launches; you’ll need to download the retailer’s app to get your entry in. Expect an EU exclusive release for this pair, though official images having loaded previously may be an indication of a wider launch down the line.
