The Converse Chuck Taylor All-Star has aged like a fine wine, and now it’s set to release in a style that promises to do the same. atmos creative head Hirofumi Kojima has shared images of a new denim pack dropping exclusively through the Japanese retailer this coming January.
Denim sneakers have been a hot topic in recent months, driven in part by the Levi’s x Nike Air Max 95 capsule and the impending Levi’s Air Jordan 3 collection slated for next year. Taiwanese retailer INVINCIBLE is also coming off a strong two-pair collaboration with Vans, which may very well go down as one of 2025’s sleeper hits when the dust settles. Much of the appeal of denim sneakers lies in how they age naturally, whether through sun fading in the summer, getting washed with sidewalk salt in the winter, or the everyday wear and tear that happens in between.
atmos has two colorways on tap: an “Egret” pair with blue and red accent lines along the midsole, and a black version featuring tonal black striping. Both are slated to release January 2026 exclusively through atmos in Japan. If you’re based elsewhere, the aftermarket will likely be your best option.
